Stuart Ogilvy, deputy Curator of Geology at the Yorkshire Museum has, once again, agreed to take a party of members, young and old, to one of his favourite fossiliferous localities. We will meet outside the Information Office on the riverside opposite the station. From there we hope to work our way along the foreshore in an easterly direction. The whole area is fascinating geologically. Fossils are abundant, and the pits where jet was mined should be visible.
