2015 The Geological Map Mosaic Project
The YPS/YMT joint project to design and install a walk-on mosaic representation of the Yorkshire part of William Smith’s 1815 Geological Map in Museum Gardens has proved a great success. 2019 The Calotype Exhibition
As part of our celebration of the approaching YPS bicentennial in 2022, a group of YPS members worked with York Museums Trust (YMT) and York Explore (YE – formerly York Central Library) to run a project in Museum Gardens, York throughout September and October 2019. The core project was an exhibition of a selection of photographs taken at a conference which took place in York 175 years ago, when photography was in its infancy.
