Event Information

Following the December 13^th lecture, we will be holding an informal get-together to celebrate Christmas with a glass of wine or a soft drink and a mince-pie in the museum atrium. Everyone is welcome, and there is no need to book in advance. Tickets costing £3 will be on sale before and after the lecture. Do take this opportunity to chat to old friends, and make new ones.

In past years, a highlight of this event has been the variety of home-made mince pies and related goodies which have been contributed by our members. If you feel able to contribute to this year’s spread, do contact Margaret Leonard at MLeonardYork@gmail.com, or via the Lodge. This is not a competition – we welcome all contributions, enjoy the variety, and are happy to enjoy the slightly mis-shapen ones. It is all part of the spirit of Christmas!
