Event Information
It is our great pleasure to invite members and their guests to our Annual Dinner on Thursday 5 December 2024 at The Novotel York Centre, Fishergate, York YO10 4FD from 6.30pm.
The YPS Annual Dinner is an opportunity to enjoy each other’s company and meet members of YPS Council in a relaxed and welcoming environment with good food and conversation.
We are delighted to announce that Professor Sarah Brown, Director of the York Glaziers Trust, has kindly accepted our invitation to join us as our guest speaker. We look forward to hearing insights into her work and its combination of art, science and archaeology.
The evening will also include a short Chair’s reflection on our activities and achievements over the past year.

S1. Roasted celeriac and thyme soup, served with bread rolls and chive butter (Vegan)
S2. Chicken terrine with leek and apricot, served with melba toast and a side of piccalilli and crispy kale salad
S3. Bloody Mary seafood platter, a seafood mash up with prawn marie rose with a hint of Bloody Mary, served with combos of lettuce
Main Course
M1. Roast Turkey ballotine stuffed with sage and onion, served with all the trimmings
M2. Parmesan crusted Salmon, panko coated langoustines served with wilted spinach, pont neuf potatoes and a gourmet tartare sauce
M3. Wild Mushroom Risotto with cauliflower fritters and roasted figs (Vegan)

D1. Yorkshire artisan cheese selection served with chutney, crackers, celery and grapes
D2. Traditional Christmas pudding, Crème anglaise and rum soaked cherries
